A recent report by State of Database DevOps revealed that within 2 years, 80% of companies will adopt DevOps. And, the biggest driver for including the database in DevOps is to increase the speed of delivery of database changes.

DevOps is the new cultural shift within organizations that is revolutionizing the way they function and deploy new applications and services. At the heart of DevOps is automation, continuous development, integration and deployment. Along this continuous deployment, database often takes a backseat while code deployments seamlessly get automated. Hence, frequent delays are noticed in deployment sprints when databases are added to the mix of a continuous integration and deployment process – especially relational databases. And that’s why, this event exclusively concentrates on various platform choices for database deployment, automation and scalability of Postgres and architecture of real-life deployments.
