It gives me a great pleasure to announce that Ashnik is partnering with Pentaho to offer Big Data and Analysis solutions in South East Asia and India region as its Distributor/ Reseller partner.

Through this partnership we would offer Pentaho’s suite of products for Big Data and Analytics solution in entire South East Asia ( Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) and Indian market. Ashnik’s customers – that include banks, insurance companies, telecom service providers, large enterprises and government departments would have access to Pentaho’s world class suite of big data analytics products through Ashnik and its partner network.

Pentaho’s products add great strength to Ashnik’s big data solution initiative by complementing its existing offering around PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cloud database and Nginx webserver accelerator product. With its consulting and solutions approach, Ashnik is fully equipped to execute its vision of being customer’s trusted advisor.

Executive briefing workshop that we had organized earlier in March, for the select few customers in Singapore was very well received. It was heartening to note wonderful response to this workshop even though it was planned on a very short notice. It was addressed by Davy Nys, Pentaho’s Vice President of EMEA and APAC region. He shared customer success stories around high performance analytics and customer 360 degree projects. Ashnik’s Director Sandeep Khuperkar presented overview of building blocks of Big Data strategy and Head of Business Development and Strategy, Kaustubh Patwardhan gave opening remarks.

I personally feel that enterprises have been always looking to gain insights into their customers, but with the availability of tools likes Penthao and big advancements in underlying database storing technologies, Big Data Analytics has emerged as a game changing initiative.
