The Role
As our Elastic Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our ELK cluster is always at its peak performance for our state-of-the-art observability solution. With opportunities to deep dive into Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana, and more, this role is for those who have a knack for problem-solving, enjoy teamwork, and are always eager to learn and adapt.
Your Journey
Setup & Configuration: Spearhead the installation and configuration of new clusters, optimizing them for peak performance.
Support Mastery: Be the frontline of support, swiftly addressing queries and ensuring our production clusters are always up and running.
Automation Wizardry: Spot repetitive tasks and script your way to automated efficiency.
Stay on Top: Apply updates and patches to ensure our software is always current and in line
with our standards.
Monitor & Innovate: Proactively monitor systems, identify areas of improvement, and push boundaries to enhance performance.
Stellar Communication: Keep everyone in the loop, whether it’s our internal teams or our esteemed customers, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Your Toolkit
Experience: Between 2 to 8 years, mastering the ELK cluster, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and supporting stellar production setups.
Technical Expertise: Deep insights into Elastic clusters, Elasticsearch, ELK stack, Kibana, Logstash, REST API integration, workload onboarding, and APM deployment.
OS Pro: Linux is more than an OS to you; it’s a toolkit for excellence.
Indexing Mastery: From Indices Mapping to Index management (including archiving, reindexing, sharding), you’ve got it all dialled in.
Streaming Prodigy: A keen understanding of data streams, with expertise in tools like Kafka and Apache Spark.
