The customer was looking to work with an open source partner with expertise in Elasticsearch to design and build a log analysis platform.

The Solution:

Ashnik’s team of Elastic experts built an environment in UAT, for log monitoring and analysis through successful testing, and took it to production by providing 24×7 post-implementation technical support.

The Benefits:

Post-implementation, the customer was able to monitor logs and analyze them quickly in order to spot pre-existing vulnerabilities and also predict future errors to tackle them well in advance.

The online payment gateway provider is one of India’s leading and fastest-growing companies that delivers banking and merchant website transactions, through a digital network of agents like retail shops, internet and mobile banking – which can be conducted at any place, and at any time.

The Challenge

The customer wanted to work with an experienced open source Elastic Stack partner who had the industry knowledge, and the expertise to design and build a log monitoring environment and provide post-production support.

The mentioned log monitoring and analysis environment were to enable a quick run-through of all the logs and solve issues by troubleshooting in a swift manner. The customer also wanted Ashnik to pre-emptively fix vulnerabilities that could occur in the future through this platform.

The Architecture Solution

The three key aspects of the solution that Ashnik developed are:

1) Implementing Log Analysis Using Elastic Stack: We installed and configured tInstallation and configuration of the entire Elastic Stack and ingested the respective logs from different applications

2) Operations Analysis from Logs: Enabling the customer to access an analysis of the operations from the logs

3) Readying the Elastic Stack environment: Building a whole Elastic Stack environment ready with production for analysis and monitoring of multiple microservices

The customer wanted to trace the transactions on the payment gateway and understand whether it has failed or it is compliant. This was made possible through the use of business-related dashboards, which we built to make the platform more user-friendly and ready for the future.

Ashnik’s Elastic stack experts who built this environment in UAT, successfully tested it and took it to production seamlessly. Our managed services helped in successfully building an environment for the customer, aiding an efficient analysis of the clusters.

The Benefits

Opting for Ashnik’s ELK expertise enabled the customer to monitor a larger number of logs post-implementation, and also successfully migrate them into production. The customer can now look through its logs via the dashboard and monitor alerts to preempt future errors.
