While there is no shortage of applications you might want to move, not every workload is equally suited for cloud deployment. You must consider the operational characteristics of your applications in determining how well and how easily a potential migration might proceed. For highly sensitive or mission critical applications that are operating well in their current environment, a move to the cloud may not be worth the risk.
